I laugh, but it doesn’t bother me. I do tend Hot Grinch Nurse I Am Sorry The Nice #Medtech Is On Vacation Christma Shirt to believe that these people don’t understand sterile procedures and are probably the ones wearing the same pair of gloves to grocery shop, handle their wallet, and then drive home; all in the same gloves. I don’t think it’s that weird for people to wear a mask in the car. If it’s rideshare, or if the other people in the car aren’t from the same household, it makes perfect sense. Also once got a drive-through coffee and forgot to pull my mask down after I left, realized I’d been driving around by myself for like 10 minutes with a mask on (I’m used to wearing one all day as I work in health care so I barely notice anymore).

I have gotten mocked for this. I manage a shop, and when I get to work, an employee uses my truck for deliveries and errands. He’s a great dude, is close to 70, and has health concerns. He really appreciates me looking out for him, and that is worth all the mockery. If my mask isn’t bothering me, then it literally isn’t actually bothering anyone, so fuck em of they find a reason.
