I’ve done it a couple of times. If you’re not going to wear it for a while you can bag it because moths like to eat camel hair! Had a hand me down camel hair jacket that moths ate =| Now all woolen type clothes get bagged for the summer. When I bring home new (thrifted) cashmere or wool, I always bag it and stick it in the freezer for 3-4 days to kill off any moths that may be hiding out in it. I had a thrifted sweater destroy my entire collection once, and now I never skip the freezer step.

I was toying with the idea of tailoring this coat but I’m wondering if I should keep it a little oversized looking for the coziness. it looks like it fits perfectly just as is (this coming from someone who shops Walmart and knows nothing about what fits whether large or small). If the sleeves fit I’m deliriously happy. I dig the coat! I feel ya on looking forward to colder weather…I just got a lot of long sleeves, jackets,and a hoodie from different yard sales and I can’t wait to be able to wear them.I’m so jealous… I’ve been looking for one since forever!
