They’ve Official Margot For It Shirt been very generous with me, and I’ll owe them everything until the end of time, but I am very much missing my independence in several respects. 38 year old here with a 6 figure income. Moved back in with my parents in December 2019. Can’t afford to. Was in a sinking ship when we were in our own rented home. Student loans are a big reason. It shows that incomes are so poor that there is no way to save enough money for emergencies. People did this 100 years ago when 3 generations all lived together in the same house.

So, I said it, packed my suitcase, and started teaching English in a foreign country. I’m still a greenhorn at it and the pay sucks, but this is the first time in my LIFE I’ve ever managed to save about 25-35% of my paycheck.
