Despite that, Whang-od continues to apply her traditional art form to locals and tourists. Those tattoos take a WHILE, let me tell you. I had a small one done with a similar technique and it involved several 2-3 hour sessions. Interesting to watch, and feels very different from modern-day tattooing.
