I think the Uchiha Sasuke Curse Mark Shirt reason it wasn’t taught to a lot of people was the fact that the state of Oklahoma covered it up for years. My mother is an American history teacher that only recently found out about the Tulsa massacre. It is insulting how such an important (and disgusting) part of American history has just been erased from the history books. This isn’t the only example, but it is an extremely painful one. It reads like an account of something Germans did in the lead up to WW2. While I can understand Americans not wanting to see themselves in this way, burying it has allowed this kind of racism to remain within.
